Work Philosophy

My work philosophy as a makeup artist in Toronto is to treat my customers as family and ease them into trusting me with their insecurities. Making sure that you as my client are always comfortable is the priority at all times. In an industry that reveals our deepest insecurities I want to be able to provide an experience that allows for trust, communication and respect. The goal is for my customers feel understood and have hope for an even more beautiful version of themselves.

As a student of our society’s social boundaries, I have equipped myself to be able to connect with all types of people. Going even further I have learnt the French and Spanish languages to an intermediate level in order to potentially break language barriers between potential clients and myself. Additionally, throughout my whole life I have been a student of Black history. I have taken cultural studies and indigenous history courses which have taught me about the way the various cultures in Canada cohabitate on stolen Indigenous land.

My place in the industry as a toronto makeup artist is to be a vehicle of change and place of comfortability. The beauty industry is also the beauty community so I will support every customer on their confidence journey with care, respect and attentiveness.
